license files are .flf and not .txt
You can however open the license file with a program that can handle .txt files.
If you want to see your license, open NAV and goto tools->license information.
You can also export your license there.

Your NAV partner should be able to provide you with a new copy of your license and config file in a matter of hours.

You could also create a new form, based on the "Permission Range" table, which is a virtual table. Put all fields on a list form, and you can see all of the permissions in your license. Compare those permissions with actual objects in your database to get a list of available objects.

This is what we have done and produce a text file for analysis/ sending back to support

Dave, thanks - I had been trying to work out how you know what a particular license has access to a while back but couldn't see where this was specified.

Now why couldn't MS just have done this and included it as a standard form?
