Transaction No.

Hi!
I need help to know where is used the "Transaction No." field, I found this field on table 17 (G/L entry), I know that this field is used to Reverse, but I want to know If there is another use for this field?

Transaction No. can be found in most ledger tables. You can use it to link transactions together. I don't believe it's used for reporting anywhere.
