Hi!

We have a client who is migrating from 3.60 to V5.

They have discovered an issue with some of their XP Sp2 machines they have uninstalled 3.60 on - That this has the side effect of damaging the inbuilt Windows Photo Printing Wizard so it no longer works properly.

They have tried repair/replace of the Windows Photo Printing Wizard, but have so far found that the only solution is to reinstall Windows.

I am very puzzled as I have not come across anything like this before.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks!

Try to reregister the MSXML.dll in the Windows\system32 folder. The uninstall process is un-registering it... (regsvr32 msxml.dll)

    Hi Kamil,

The client has also been doing some testing and found a similar resolution. If they unregistered the dll file for the Windows search function and re-registering it again, the problem was resolved.

    Many thanks for your help.
