Migration problem in 5.0 sp1

Our client using the objects having version US2.0 but they are using 3.70 client.
Is that mean they are using 2.0 database with 3.70 executable?

For this how can I migrate the database from 3.70 to 5.0 sp1
OR 2.0 to 4.0 and then 4.0 to 5.0 sp1?

Yes, they are on 2.0 Database with 3.7 executables. Look at the upgrade toolkit(s) on PartnerSource and search the forum for more information.
