C/SIDE Hyperlinking error

Hello
We have a very strange issue with a preview of the salary statement. An automation creates a .htm-File on c:\ (x.htm) and then it should open IEX directly.
On some computers this works fine (also over Citrixbased Navision). But there are some computers where it doesn't work at all or only some days.
When it doesn't work the following error message appears:
C/SIDE hyperlinking was not successfull. C/SIDE hyperlinking needs Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 and a browser.
You tried a link on c:\x.htm ...
What can I do here? The computers it doesn't work are a NT4.0 and a Windows 2000 notebook with full rights.
