Connecting NAV2009 - Additional Ports other than 7046?

When I turn off the Windows firewall on the NAV2009 server, I can connect via RTC without problems.
The problem is when I turned on the firewall, then I'm unable to connect. Here's the configuration.
- I've allowed ports 7046 and 7047 in the Windows Firewall exceptions on the server and the client
- The NAV services are are logging in using the Local System account
Are there any other ports I need without having to disable Windows firewall on client servers?
Client: Windows XP
Server: Windows 2003

You can change the ports in the config files - but 7046 (tcp) should be sufficient for the RTC and 7047 (tcp) should be sufficient for Web Services.Freddy Kristiansen

You can try to use NetMon to see the communication...0

Between RTC and NST there is communication only on port 7046 (I used NetMon to be sure...). Question is, if NST needs another port open to make all calls needed for authentication, delegation, SQL connection etc.
Are theresome errors in the event log?0 -
What exactly am I looking for on NetMon?
Nope, no errors on the event log.
I know 100% for sure it's related to the Windows Firewall on the server because when I turn it off, it works fines.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

You can catch the communication when firewall is on and off and compare it...0

You can try to open port 389 for UDP (LDAP). It can be used by NST to read data from LDAP... may be this is forbidden... but it is just shot into dark... - but I mean outgoing traffic from NST to this port, not incomming...0

Ok, I found out what the problem is.
You cannot set the login for the NAV services as Local System account. If you set the NAV service as Local System account, then you will need to first access the server, type in the username and password, before it allows you to connect via RTC.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
