GL Correcting Entries

I have read in the Help files on Attain 3.1 that it is possible to do Correcting Entries in GL - how do these work - what value arev they.
In order to do this it is necessary to insert a feild into the GL Journal called Correcting Entry Y/N using Designer - how is this done.

You must refer to field "Correction" in Table 81 which makes the program to switch debit-credit thereby making posts with "negative mark" to "positive side".
Go easy on this immediately creating new fields thing - it could come back haunting you
