Item Tracking in Subcontracting Order

Dear All,

Kindly advice on this issue in Nav 4.0

Items have item tracking.

1. The component is send for subcontracting to vendor location, but in item ledger entries the items are trasnfered to vendor location without any item tracking. This means the system does not asks for item tracking lines in subcontracting, is it?
2. While recieving the items in Subcontracting details form, the system asks for item tracking for the recieving item. But Item tracking lines are not available in this form. How to recieve?

MS NAV 4.0 did not come up with built-in funcitonality for Sub contracting Item tracking . It has been addressed in NAV 2009 SP1 with Feature pack 1.
