how to get rid of the thousand separator

For some reasons I don't like a thousand separator. and I don't like a comma as decimal separator.

So I set the local settings in my controllpannel to
Decimal separator (.) period
and Thousand separator to space (cause if y set it to noting you get the message that y have to set it to space if y not want to use a sign)

But navision now gives a space on the place where I do not want to use a sign. example (1 000.00)

So I tried to change decimalseparator in the registry (gives no message that you have to set the separator to space) by searching for thousand and than change to noting.

Then navision gives a (.) period there where I do not want to use a sign. example (1.000.00)

From where does the period come? I havnt got a clue...
And does anyone know how to get rid of the thousand separator?

Regards,

Sjaco

Nice, but when I change it and try to start navision the message is clear:

    "Checksum failed"

Does somebody know how to edit this file?
