Hello.
Average costing in 5.0 and 5.0 sp1 and 2009 is about the same except bug fixes. So I posted it in here.
An Item that is average costing.
Inventory setup is
"Average Cost Calc. Type" = Item
"Average Cost Period" = Daily
Where do the Transfer entries get the cost?
From looking at Cronus. It gets the cost from Average for that day.
Is there a scenario where a transfer entry would not get the cost from that Daily Average?
I've seen Transfer entries that originate when you do a Item Reclass, and in Average Cost Calc. Overview they are of type applied increased and applied decrease, but even those get the daily average.
