Hi
what is an avarage time of database upgrade from 3.70 to 4.00 SP3?
Database is standard, without any new objects. Both versions have the same local funcionality.
Thanks in advance

    So no customizations?

How big is the database? Usually if you give yourself a weekend it's more than enough time, assuming you've done all the prep work or merging code.

Database size is about 4GB. I need to know estimate time of all things that should be done with upgrade (from backup old database to start working with new one).

Only way to do that is to do a trial run. And even then you should take some extra time, because unexpted things DO happen.

Yeah, do a trial run. It probably won't take more than a day if it's only 4GB, and that's being fairly conservative. If it doesn't take long, add it into the quote to the customer as Testing. Your customer can be assured that things are less likely to go wrong on cut-over weekend and you still bill for your time.
