Ok here is the scoop. I run Navision Sql option. Server 2003, SQL 2000 SP3 and Navision attain 3.01.B. About three days ago we moved the sql servers physical location to another room and ever since then my users have experienced dissconects. They will be working in any module and in the middle they will get a navision has lost connection with the server for these reasons... I've gone through the log files on the server and there is no record of TCP up/downs at these times or any errors that I can see. The only thing that is happening when they experience this is a transaction log dump by sql. This dump runs hourly and then the backups run at night. I've attacked it as a hardware problem for the past three days, replacing the NIC card and recabling the connections. All looks good. I was just wondering if anyone has come across this type of problem? I'm starting to think that it might be an SQL timeout but I'm not sure about that.
