Rec Compare (in Excel)
Compare 2 records in MS Excel.

There are 3 ways to do this:
1) Using the tray-icon (right-click)
2) Using an 'always on top' window
3) Using shortcuts

How to compare?
- Copy a record in zoom modus (CTRL + F8)
- Insert record 1 (use step 1,2 or 3)
- Copy another record in zoom modus (CTRL + F8)
- Insert record 2 (use step 1,2 or 3)
- Excel starts.

    Hi,
sounds like a very useful tool.
But till now I couldn't find out how to use it properly?
I thought to follow the description but there always comes the message "Record is not correct".
    What can I do?

    Thanks!

BlueInTheSky You must press first press Ctrl+F8, Ctrl+c to copy the record in zoom modus. Then you can set it as record 1 or 2 in Rec Compare.

It would be nice if the lines with changes are marked in a different color (for example in red). Now the cells are displayed in bold.
