No. of concurrent users caused of locking?

Hi Guys,

Good Day!

I face a problem right now on Table Locking which is unusual to me, when I post one sales invoice it's fast when i'm the only one who login in database, but if there some user's logins the posting of invoice is too long then it will cause the locking because of long process. please advice.

we use SQL option and NAV 5sp1.

You should find out what the rest of the users are doing at that time. Are they also posting invoices?

Then you'll need to tune your database...

Is your process slow because of lockings or you also get deadlocks?

2 users is pretty weird for this type of problem. Are you running terminal services on the SQL Server box with a modest amount of RAM?
