Import using Excel Buffer and Trailing zeros

Hi,
I have just written a Report using the Excel Buffer to read an Excel Spreadsheet containing information that will populate the Purchase Invoice Lines table. One of the columns on the spreadsheet contains a description which is for example 80002000.057100 - however when I debug the program and it goes to the excel buffer table where I can see the data being read from the spreadsheet the description field is interpreted as 80002000.0571 and the trailing zeros are dropped. Has anyone got a remedy for this as I really need the trailing zeros.
