Email Signature

Hi All,

I am using fct NewMessage of codeunit 397 to send automatic emails. However, even thought users have an outlook signature (which works on new or reply emails), it does not come up in the created email...

Is there a way to have it automatically generated in the new email??

If you are using Outlook the signatures are stored in the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures

I only have one signature and there are three files (htm, rtf, and txt) for it. I believe if you have more than one you still have to set one of them as default and it is stored as Default.txt / Default.htm / Default.rtf

You could open the file and copy the text to the body of your email. I don't think there's a way to go through the Outlook rules to choose a signature without actually using Outlook, though.
