Which filter group to apply in this situation

Hi All
I am trying to do a simple thing.
I have made a field in cust. table(18). say A.
Made a new table and list form for that table some data for customers.
I gave the lookup on this nw field(A) in cust. card.

Now I want to apply a filter on a form in such a way so that when I click the lookup in the field "A" in the cust. card the records which contain the current cust. no. (which is on the card), only gets displayed.Note:I have also created a field in that new table named as cust. giving it the lookup for cust. field which can be used for matching.

Not 100% sure what you want to achieve but look at the Item Category Code/Product Group Code on the item table for an example. This is using the table relation property to filter down the product group by item category.
