adjusting value entries - while posting sales invoice

Hi,

we have just strated using navision 5.0. We are having manfacturing process and we have adopted average costing method. Our Problem is that for eg: we have posted the production BOM on 17.02.09 and we have shipped the finised products as well. But while invoicing the shipments made, on 17 .02.09 and above date, it is taking a long time to finish posting and it shows that adjusting value entries. can anybody look into it to help us out.

You need to uncheck Automatic Cost Adjustment in Inventory Setup.
Financials Management->Inventory->Setup->Inventory Setup.

You can then run this manually daily at night.

Financials Management->Inventory->Costing->Adjust Cost - Item Entries..

I have changed the Automatic cost Adjustment into " Never", now it is posting quickly. Thanks for the tip.

You are welcome

Make sure you only modified Automatic Cost Adjustment to never and not Automatic Cost Posting boolean field


Also remember to runt the report nightly.
