Can anyone comment (good or bad) to approaching a upgrade in pieces. We have a client that wants to upgrade the executables to a 5.x version, but needs to delay the full object upgrade. They are currently on a 2.x client / object base.
With the exception of specific 5.x functionality (push to features) etc..
Are there specific functional issue that would arise with this type of configuration?

We have a customer that is on 5.x exe running 2.6 db on sql and haven't reported any issue for about a year.
