Item importing using xml port error

Hi I have written a port to export items and it works well. When i try the same port to import in the items, it fails. error comes up Item does not exists for no good reason. I know item doesn't exists dats why I am importing it:)

then it follows by this error

The XML Parser setup fails.
Error = 80004005 Code meaning = Unspecified error
OK
Any idea?
