use of the supplementary Invoice

Hi ,

What is the use of the supplementary Invoice . when we use this invoice .
From the help I got this information .
Supplementary :
Place a check mark in this field so that the program can identify it as supplementary invoice. If this field is checked then the program will show the Supplementary Invoice in the invoice print after posting

Supplementary Invoice is used to give a additional rate invoice in case of Purchase/Sale.
