Sales Invoice and WMS

Hi All,

I'm investigating WMS in NAV4.0. My question concerns Sales Invoices. In my test database, I have WMS turned on with directed pick and put away for the location. However, it appears that I can create a sales invoice and post it without any warehouse pick. I understand that the sales invoice doesn't require a 'shipment' but it seems to me that a pick should still be required since inventory is take from somewhere? Any insight to this would be appreciated.

    You need to create an order.

    I think that it is not a bad functionality. All these transactions goes to correction bin, so you can always see what is within this bin and put this into correct bin.
    In real world, sometimes you need to fix your bad documents by creating corrections. In this situation you can bypass WMS when you create credit memo and then invoice (You do not want to do anything with WMS, you just made a mistake in price).
