Report Frame

I'm trying to put a frame around the output of a report - some of it comes from a body section and some of it comes from a footer section. I am using the "Report Frame" icon in the Toolbox, but it will not let me drag and drop the frame over more than 1 section of the report. is there anyway to do this?

You'll need to change it to horizontal and vertical lines and put them separately in each section.

click on property of the box and there is a property called shape and change it to horizontal or vertical line.

    Hi,

I see the report frame control in toolbox of NAV 4.0 SP3, but it is disable. Why is it disable and not removed from NAV if it is not used anymore?

    Thank you.

There are some controls which newer worked (e.g. List) and are there just to be "Windows Compatible".

moreover...the toolbox for report and form is the same. in forms the frame works, but it does not in the reports.
good luck for the vertical lines!you'll do a lot of copy/paste work!!
Solution 2: do it through rdlc in nav2009sp1

So, ReportFrame control and ListBox control are compatible with Windows, but these controls are not used in Navision?
    Thank you.
