Backup reccovery

Is there any backup recovery toolkit available to restore corrupted backups?
One of our clients has a backup with critical data to restore. This backup seems to be corrupted. When trying to restore, it gives this error message: cannot find the 4th file. There should be only 3 backup files.

Any help is welcome.

Are you sure? For me it looks like there were 4 files but somebody copied only the 3 files...

There is tool named C/Dart, but it was accessible only for MSFT and I do not know what was able to repair (it is focused on NAV Native databases). Best will be to ask MSFT directly...

    Do you have a website?
I tried to find it on the internet but couldn't find it.
    Please let me know.

    Thanks.

Even if this is true then I would think even C/Dart can't fix a database missing a chunk of data like that.
It would be a miricle program if it does and very expensive.

Yes, it should help only in situation that there was really 3 files only and the NAV is requesting 4th because the backup is corrupted, but for me it is not this case...
