Learning C/AL

Hi everyone,

Firstly, apologies if I have posted this in the wrong forum... first post and all that.

Anyway, for a variety of reasons I am looking to start learning C/AL and since most of you here work with it all the time I though you might have some top tips on how/where to get started (books, sites etc)? I have previous programming experience but mostly in web technologies (primarily PHP) and have been asked to expand my horizons to include C/AL so I can help with maintenance of my employers Nav solution.

Any pointers are highly appreciated :D

Go to http://dynamicsuser.net/, follow the link to the book called "Programming Microsoft Dynamics NAV" and purchase it. This book is an excellent start to anybody's NAV developer career. Working for a NAV partner, you should also get the training material through partnersource:
    - installation and configuration
    - introduction to C/SIDE programming (AKA Development 1)
    - C/SIDE solution development (AKA Development 2)
