Accelerating production posting process

Hi all,

I want to accelerate the output/consumption posting process. My customer has nothing to do with capacities or reservations. The production will be very straightforward. Our sole purpose is to create the item cost and the cost of goods sold. Capacity use will no affect on the cost. Can I simplify the posting routine (skipping some functions in codeunits related capacity and reservation)?

Please, do not do that. If you are using SQL, you can optimize other things to speed the process. And if you are not posing any time, most of the code regarding capacities will not be used. First try to solve sub-optimum code and indexes, skipping standard functionality is the latest thing I will use to solve something like performance...
