About G/L entry table missed a field

zuihuazuihua Member Posts: 43
Hi guys:
I found there isn't the field "value entry no." on G/L entry table on NAV version 5.1, also in version 5.0.
But in NAV version 3.6 and version 4.0, there is this field.

I want to ensure with you guys that it's the modification from microsoft?

And if the G/L entry table doesn't have this filed, how can system reconcile inventory with general ledger? Only based on document no.?

Best regards

The W1 version never had this field. Probably it is a localized or customized field.
    Which ID had that field?

This is changed in 5.0SP1. There's a new table (5023 G/L - Item Ledger Relation) that links value entries with g/l entries. It has never been this easy to reconcile the inventory

    Hi laweume:
Thank you very much. I found that table. It's useful to me. Before I used that field "value entry no." to find out the problems of reconciliation inventory with G/L.
