How to setup dimension levels in BA?

Hi everyone. Maybe someone knows how to organize dimensions in level in business analytics setup? I've seen the examples entered, but still can' figure out the logic that would help me define new ones. I would like to organize the item related data from "item ledger entry" cube this ways.
1)Item Category
2)Product Group
3)Specific Item No.
Looks very simple but don't know how to do it correctly. Any suggestion is highly appreciated. Thanks
