SMTP does not work

Hello,

I have fun stuff with sending E-Mails from Axapta. In Ax I went through "Administration-> IT Administration -> General Setup" There is apeace where I can fill in my SMTP server -> ther is a "SMTP Mail Setup" form where I can fill in my SMTP server and login credentials. I made this. I thried to send out an mail from AX. Nothing happens. I mean nothing. No error, no mail arrived somewhere. On the smtp Server I didn't see an opening connection. Is there something like a log file or something more to configure?

Hi, you could check the event viewer in Control panel->Administrative Tools->Evenet viewer, maybe there is something under Application that may help.
