Autoarchive when we make a Quote to Order

Hi experts,
I need your suggestion.
Our Client has a requirement as “Auto archive when we make a sales quote to order “.
I.e. when they make a sales quote to sales order it will converted to order and an archive copy of that quote should be there in History. For that I write code in “Onpush” Trigger of “Make Order” Button

But when we push the "Make Order" button it gives an error as


To solve this I Just Call the commit function and the problem is solved.

I just want to correctness of that code?

What happens when the 'quote to order' process runs into an error? Then you have an archived copy of the quote and no order. I would personally put the archiving step inside the conversion code instead, without the COMMIT.
