Hi All,

I have designed Sharepoint Web Parts using NAV 5.1 Employee Portal.
I have done all the setup and developement on my Virtual PC in my PC.
It's working fine. And also executing the NAV code and also giving the validation messages,
whereever required.

Now, When I installed it on our client server then also it's working fine. But it is not going to
show me the validation messages, written using

e.g. ERROR(Text001);

or simple field validation is also not going to be called.
What may be the problem?
So, Please suggest me the solution.

    Hello Kriki,

I have one doubt related to your, post movement to NAV E-Commerce process.
Due to which reasons our posts are transfered to NAV E-Commerce?

    Asking just for the knowledge.

    Hello Kriki,

    1) You're talking about 50SP1, so it is not for the NAV 2009-forum. In the description is also put 5.1, because in the beginning NAV2009 was foreseen for 5.1 (and this is not 5.0SP1; in the end there was never a version called 5.1), then MS renamed it to 6.0 and then MS renamed it to NAV2009.
    2) If you read the description of the Navision e-Commerce forum, you will see that Employee portal is part of the Navision e-Commerce forum.

I hope this makes it clear why I moved your topic.

    Oh Nice,

    Thanks for your nice feedback.
Actually I was thinking 5.1 version as same as 5.0 SP1. Because I never heard about 5.1 seperately.
So, I got cleared my Doubt now.
And I assure, this mistake will not happen again. I respect such rules.

    Thanks again.

I can understand your doubt. MS made a real mess with 5.0,5.1,5.0SP1,6.0,2009. #-o #-o
