Hi,

Does anyone have the installation guide for EP2009? The one available in the installation documentation for NAV2009 and from Partnersource is still for EP5.00. It still specifies in the requirements section that MS Server 2003 is required. Is this still valid or can it be used on MS Server 2008?

I was wondering if anyone can assist with the requirements for EP2009?

Thanks,
Bennie

The installation guide for EP 2009 is being prepared at the moment, hopefully we will have this ready soon.

But if you have look at our System Requirements https://mbs.microsoft.com/downloads/partner/nav/news/NAV2009SystemRequirements.pdf, you will see that Windows Server 2008 is also supported.

    2 questions:
    1) The document says it support running 32 bit on a 64 bit server - my understanding on the prior versions was that this had to be a 32 bit operating system - was that wrong, or is this an enahancement for NAV2009?

    2) When will these apps be directly supported in a 64 bit environment? Is the implementation of the Message Queue the problem or is it something else?

So am I correct to then imply that EP 2009 will work with the following Server Requirements:

    1. Windows Server 2008
    2. IIS (Included with Windows Server 2008)
    3. .Net Framework 3.0
    4. Message Queueing Services (Included with Windows Server 2008)
    5. Windows SharePoint Services (Included with Windows Server 2008)
    6. Visual J#.NET 2.0

    Your feedback is much appreciated.
