Invoicing A Job In Version 5

Hi,
During the first phase of my NAV 5 implementation I need to be able to raise sales invoices against Job records which may not have any costs against them. The invoices also need to be free-form design. This was possible in version 4, but in the new Jobs module I see that the "Job No.", "Job Task No." and "Job Contract Entry No." fields are all read-only on the sales invoice form and it seems the only way to invoice a job is to run the 'Job Create Sales Invoice' batch job. This will cause me problems so I wondered if anybody had done customisations to get around this, can the columns on the sales invoice be made editable without causing problems?
