ODBC Problems with decimal data type

We just updated to Navision Version 3.70.A. Now we have some problems with the ODBC-Driver. We use this to transport data from invoices into our Lotus Notes (R6.01) CRm Solution. The Notes part of the interface is made by an external company.
Now we have some problems with decimal fields. The provider tells us he is not able to read decimal fields as they have a format which includes too many digits. He solved this problem at his site with an update of the ODBC driver to 3.70.A, but at our site this solution did not work.
Does anyone else have had this problem ?
Do you know any trick or solution to solve the problem ?
