You can save as HTML file and then use Excel.

    Hi Sumathi,

Do not get confused by the ID I am Paramjit Singh(eBrahma friend of Srini) How are you? Posting a lot of queries on MIBUSO.

Well is you if you want to convert a report in to Excel XLS some of various availbale methods the cheapest and of course best is to produce comma delimited output text file and to open it in Excel staright away no conversion no manual work needed. For a CSV file you can use DATA PORT.

Go to the report for which you want the values on EXCEL

Go to File --> "Save as HTML" --> Change the "File Name" with applying extension as ".xls"

    It should work!!! :)

The column layout is not always preserved when exporting to Excel. Navision seems to fit the columns of each into the least amount of space possible, so if the report header prints only on the first page, then you might have this result (I have used . to denote spaces):

    Navision report:

    (page 1)
    Customer Outstanding balance Contact
    ABC...............................3................YYY
    DEF................................4................ZZZ

    (page 2)
    GHI................................5................TTT

    Excel report:
    Customer Outstanding balance Contact
    ABC...............................3................YYY
    DEF................................4................ZZZ
    GHI.5.TTT
