LS Retail - InStore Management - Apply entries issue.

Hi all.

I see that the InStore Management in LS Retail doesn't supports application of entries. In retail scenario, where there are a lot of transactions related to receipts, sales, positive adjustments, negative adjustents (which are unavoidable), the costing at Central database is getting in a mess.

Had anyone seen any solution to this? If no, then how the projects are able to manage the inventory costing part in this scenario??? :?:

    this modification will involve adding the functionality at POS menu, then changing the Posting of statement. It's a large task.
    Most retailers would have average costing to mitigate the issue.

    I agree. The average costing can equate costs to some extent.
    But what about the erroneous inventory adjustments with inflated costs, which needs exact cost reversal?

    I guess revalulation journals can be of some use for it. Please correct me if I am away from track, and please provide some more insight to it. :|

    yes revaluation should fix those entries.
