On your product disk there is a folder called 'Doc'. In this folder, you will find a document called w1w1ism.pdf and one called w1w1sql.pdf. Read both of those documents for all your information about installing and configuring NAV.
With NAV 5 It is very easy task...But u should take care...
Actually no it's not a very easy task. Installing NAV on your laptop is an easy task. There is quite a bit you should know when installing and configuring NAV in a customer's production environment, and this should not be taken lightly. If you screw this up, the customer will end up months from now with a system that is performing badly, and they will have to get an expert in to get them out of the crap. Not very bad for me because that's one of the things i do for a living, but I wish people would start acknowledging that this business we are in is not a "very easy task" and take some pride in doing it right.
Those installation manuals are just the start. Anyone who installs NAV for customers should also study the course material for Installing and Configuring NAV.

It's only easy when you know what you're doing.
