StyleSheet Problem: Data disappears when printing

Hi,

I´m using the Style Sheet Tool with a 5.0 SP1 SQL database for exporting the sales header and -line to MS Word.

Everything works fine, the data is displayed correctly in the mail merge fields..... ok!

BUT: Now the user wants to print the document, after confirming the Print-Dialog, almost (!) all the data in the mail merge fields disappears and the print shows the <<Sales_Header_Sellto_Customer_Name>> tags!

Some of the mail merge fields are in the header and footer of the document, these are the fields their data disappears. The data of the sales line, which is displayed in a word table, is displayed (and printed) correctly, however.

I´ve checked the word options, that no fields are refreshed before printing and so on....

Btw, I´m using Word 2007.

Somebody an idea?!

Thanks in advance

Edit: Even if I just use the print preview (page view? sorry, don´t know the correct word for this function  ) the data in the header and footer disappears. :-k

We found a workaround: when designing the Word document, and after the merge fields are added to a header/footer section, one needs to select all the fields and press Ctrl-F11. This will put a field-lock on the merge-fields, preventing them from being changed when the document is printed.
