If you mean "make sure that it is a correctly formatted email address", then you will have to program that yourself.

You have to write a very small code for it like you do it through javascript.

On codeunit 400, there's a function called CheckValidEmailAddress. This is what you need.

Hi folks, I know this is an old post, however, wants to bring some point her. The function that Alex mentioned is not available since it is a local var. What should be the correct call to codeunit 400 in this cases to validate the email? calling the "AddRecipients"!!

Do you have Codeunit 9520 Mail Management, function CheckValidEmailAddresses?
