simple subcontract

Hi Experts,

My client has is not a manufacturing company,but they have subcontracting process. They are the seller of wooden doors , but they send those doors to sub contractors to Carve the design.. How do i process this kind of Sub contracting process. Cost also gets added after carving

He has the license for subcontracting order.. But when i go to subcontract process it displays that Subcontracting order to be created from Work sheet. being not a Manufactuing company they dont use work sheet.. Experts kindly look into it.

They are a manufacturing company that do not use manufacturing.

They do however use subcontracting

NAV is insistent on subcontracting being used within manufacturing, otherwise it is called purchasing.

You therefore have 2 choices:

i) Use manufacturing in NAV to handle the subcontracting requirements of the business.
ii) Modify NAV to handle your subcontracting requirements.
