I accidentally converted the 5.0 database to 6.0
is there any way to convert it back?

Forgot to mention, this is a native database.

I'd try taking a NAV backup and recreate the database with 5.0 exe's.

I am afraid that it will not work, there will be error when restoring, becauase there will be virtual tables which are not known in NAV 5.00... :-k

You can backup only company and unchecked company independent tables that way 20 billion tables are not included.

And then load only selected objects.

backup just data. uncheck company independent company and uncheck objects.

you can load the objects, but as text and compile.

Yes, when you skip the data shared through companies, it will work, because the data are not problem. Problems begin when you will try to import the shared data and this is not done in this way. But you will not have data like Permissions etc. restored, which can be restored by Export/Import from the NAV 2009 client.
