Difference Inventory on 'Item card' and Availability in Sale

Can somebody tell me what the difference is between the

1. Inventory on the Item Card
2. and the Availability on the Sales Order subform

I got for instance for item A on the Item Card an inventory of 810

Then i type in this item no on the Sales Order line, and there is the availability -410

Why is this?

Most likely because you have 1220 on other sales orders.

Deep

Item card shows actual inventory.
Sales Order subform shows actual inventory - qty on sales orders - qty on transfer orders.
