On different occasions our NAV Client crashes out. It seems to be the case when a Navision error is produced and Windows shuts down the finsql.exe.
One example of this behaviour :
we open the form Item Bin Contents (7379) from the Item Card. We remove the filters on the form, and place a new fieldfilter on the "Bin Code" : A00..B99|PTL*
After applying this filter, Navision produces an error, saying "The filter ... should specify an interval..." This error is produced because there's a function GetCaption on the form using the functions GETRANGEMIN and GETRANGEMAX.
Now when we close this errormessage, the NAV client closes down, with Windows saying "Microsoft Dynamics NAV Client executable for SQL Server has stopped working".
On our old configuration (Navision 3.60) this wasn't the case. After closing the Navision error message, just the Bin Contents form was closed and we could proceed working in Navision.
Has anyone experienced the same problem and, even better, could resolve this issue ?
Thanks in advance !
