Compare Boolean and Date

Hi, I make the following comparison in a report:

IF ("Outstanding Quantity">0)
AND (WORKDATE)<("Shipment Date")

but it says that "conversion rate is not possible - Boolean and Date." I tried to put a "Format" but there is no way. How can I make that comparison?.
