NAV function

Begginers question, is it possible in NAV(somehow) to create a function where you're passing a record parameter to it where that record parameter doesn't have to be previously defined, allow to pass to the function in different situation a different record.

I'm asking this in order to try to re-use the function as much as possible.

yes, that's possible. Have a look at tablerefs and fieldrefs
