NAV Client freezes when accessing Automation Servers table

Hello,

I have an issue occuring on one computer where when accessing Navision virtual table Automation Servers 2000000046, the Navision client becomes non-responding and the finsql process takes 99% of the processor time. This occurs even if I just try to create a new form using Automation Servers as a data source, as soon as I type the Automation Servers into Table "field" on new form page and leave the Table field the issue occurs.

Does anybody know what causes this issue and what can be done with that?

It is in NAV5, SQL.

    I'm guessing there is a certain automation is registered with either a long name or weird characters.
    How to fix it would be to find what kind of programs are installed and uninstall the unusuall once.
    The other option is to reinstall windows.

    For how long did you tried to wait? You can try to use e.g. Process Monitor from Microsoft (from Sysinternals) to see what is going on, may be it will help you to identify which library is the source.
