Database (native) full error at the time of opening.

Hi,
Our client is using Navision native database, the usage of which has reached 100% of it's size. Now it is not opening due to the 'database full' error and asking to expand the database. Is there any option of expading the native database without opening it? Latest backup is not available and live database needs to be made up & running ASAP. Any suggestion would be of great help.
