Can NAV3.6 interface with Web Services?

I have a client who is using NAV3.6 and is checking whether NAV3.6 can interface (both sending and getting data) with a web services. I have check the forum and found several post of the related topics but they are all of NAV3.7 and above. I wonder can anyone tell me concretely whether NAV3.6 can interact with web services. (I saw a post using COM Interop but I wonder it can work with NAV3.6) :?: :?: :?

    u can use for this for example the Automation 'Microsoft XML, v5.0'

    We are using WS with NAV 2.60 without problem... ;-)

    you only cannot use XMLPorts, but other things are working without problems.
