In enquiry window there is a header and line form,I am entering the values first and the cursor is poing outoff the number field and then I am scrawling the mouse now new record is generated automaticaly.

Yes, enable the DelayedInsert on the form and the record will be inserted only if you fill some data...

Make Multiple New Lines property to No.

by default MultipleNewlines is No only.Nothing is changed in this property.

Where you setup DelayedInsert? You should do this in Lines form, not Header.

In Line form also the Delayed insert is default as No and one thing the number is genrated automaticaly in the header only not in the line.

What is the primary of the table used for the form?
Make sure there is a composit key for the primary key (Like combination of Doc. No. and the Line No.) and then make delayed insert true.
