Schedules in Sales Tax setup

Hi masters ,

Can I know what is the use of the Schedules in Sales Tax setup .
Financial Managemnt - > setup - > Sales tax - > Schedules

Please explain with suitable example. .

How can we this schedules in real Industrial scenario.?

I gone through the help , but i could not understand that ' y i throw this query in this forum.

Different states have different VAT Schedules which includes different items with their individual VAT rates.
Schedules table is a master which lists all the VAT schedules, which can be selected over States.
Finally, with relation to these schedules, the different Tax rates can be defined in Tax Details.
